UFC – Ultimate Fighting Championship

Cyborg vs. Evinger

Cris Cyborg has been undefeated for the last 10 years and the UFC has found it difficult to find her suitable opponents. Tonya Evinger is the current Invicta bantamweight champion and will make her UFC debut to see if she can give Cyborg her first loss. The winner will become the UFC women’s featherweight champion.

Woodley vs. Maia

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley wanted to fight George St Pierre in a big money fight but instead he has been asked to first defend his belt against the number one contender Damian Maia who has won his last 7 fights. Woodley will go in as the favorite with his knockout power and his wrestling but the Brazilian is considered by his peers to be the best jiu-jitsu martial artist on the planet and a master at submissions.

Lawler vs. Cerrone

The last time Robbie Lawler stepped into the Octagon was to defend his belt against Tyron Woodley. MMA fans have been eager to witness this fight and so far it has been cancelled twice. The first time Lawler pulled out at UFC 205 because he wasn’t fully ready and felt he was rushing things. They were then scheduled to fight at UFC 213 but Cowboy pulled out with a staph infection. Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone is coming off a defeat to Jorge Masvidal and will have a tough challenge ahead facing the Ruthless one.

Manuwa vs. Oezdemir

Jimi Manuwa was expecting a title shot against Daniel Cormier but lost out to Jon Jones. He will now take on the number 5 ranked Volkan Oezdemir who has had an incredible run in the UFC so far. This will be Oezdemir’s biggest challenge till date but Manuwa is the favorite to win.
